My Story
I've been creating content online for about six years. I've always been a vocal person, but I discovered my passion for advocacy just two years ago; at the tail-end of an abusive relationship. After being lucky (or dumb) enough to turn my advocacy into a full-time career, I often wondered where exactly my "niche" was. A conversation with my manager left me inspired after he told me, "your niche is two words: human first." Then came May of 2026.
I started a new short-form series, not thinking much of it, and titled it "Famous Male Abusers Who Still Haven't Been Canceled as Much as a Woman Who Doesn't Smile Enough." My goal was to shed light on famous women whose careers have been hurt for things like personality, rudeness, and fashion, while holding them in contrast to true male abusers who still haven't seen the same kickback. The series blew up in a way I never would've imagined, and has literally changed my life.
Averaging almost 10 million cumulative views per installment, it became clear to me that there is deep demand for these double standards to be exposed. After speaking with a survivor of Jared Leto's and sharing her story, so many people reached out to me with experiences of their own. I decided to start this citizen journalism project to address the gaps in coverage of abuse committed by men. I've included a full growing list of everyone I've covered in my series so far, as well as resources for survivors, and ways to contact me with your own stories.
I hope this can be a place for people to learn, to reflect, and to re-evaluate what issues are truly worth our time; because often, they're happening at the hands of powerful men.
